Md. Khairul Kabir Menon a member of BCS Administration Cadre 17th batch has joined in the Civil Service on February 22, 1998. He is working as Transport Commissioner from 24th March 2025.
In his 28 years of service he worked in the field administration as Assistant Secretary, AC (Land), Senior Assistant Secretary, Upazila Nirbahi Officer & Secretary Zilla Parishad.
As Deputy Secretary he worked for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Industries & Power Division and as Joint Secretary in Power Division & Ministry of Commerce. He also worked with the Ministry of Commerce & Security Services Division as Additional Secretary.
Mr. Menon worked as Deputy Director, Director & Member Directing Staff (MDS) at BCS Administration Academy for long 5 years. He loves to give training & is a very good trainer. As one of the members of National Training Pool he conducts sessions at various training Institutions.
He took part in ACAD in India, Professional Development Program at Macquarie University, Australia and Personnel Management Course at Mastricht School of Management in the Netherlands and Human Resource Management Course at AIT, Thailand.
Mr. Menon has an excellent academic background. He passed S.S.C. & H.S.C. with first Division from Faujdarhat Cadet College. He secured first Class 2nd position in B.Sc. (Hons.) & first Class 4th position in M.Sc.(thesis) from the Department of Soil, Water & Environment, University of Dhaka. He has received Dean's Award from the Dean of Biological Science for outstanding Academic Performance and Regularity while studying in the University of Dhaka.
He did MBA from West Bengal University of Technology, India Under Colombo Plan Scholarship & Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership Management, from the University of Utara, Malaysia, under BCSAA Capacity Building Program Scholarship.
Four articles of Mr. Menon on Environmental Pollution were published in different Journals. Many articles of Mr. Menon on different important contemporary issues were also published in different magazines and souvenirs.
